Kedarnath Cloudburst 2024 Olympics. A cloudburst in kedarnath has caused serious damage, leading to a sudden rise in the mandakini river’s water level in sonprayag on wednesday night. A cloudburst occurred near the bhim bali stream on the kedarnath walking trail, resulting in a landslide that damaged around 25 meters of the path.

In a rescue operation, nearly 2,537 pilgrims bound for kedarnath were rescued. Due to cloudburst in kedarnath, parts of the footpath near bhimbali were washed away.
